Bohuslav Sobotka, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic (CR), met on 10th November 2015 in Hrzánský Palace in Prague a delegation of prominent Chinese entrepreneurs. Some of the major companies represented have been listed in Fortune Global 500. The Prime Minister met top leadership of CEFC China Energy Company Limited, whose core business lies in finance, energy, and industry. The company has invested several billion Czech crowns in the CR. The financial sector was further represented by China Construction Bank or Ping An Bank. The industry delegation included China Nuclear Corporation or China National Machinery Industry Corporation representatives, whereas the tourism industry was represented by top leadership of China Eastern Airlines, Hebei Tourism Group or Shanghai Spring International Travel Service Group.

Important Chinese investors led by China CEFC Energy Company Limited have entered the CR; Prague was chosen as a seat of major financial institutions such as Bank of China; the first direct flight between Prague and Beijing was opened and the tourist influx from China to the CR is on the rise.
